About riah

A Boston-born artist of proud Cape Verdean heritage, riah {REE-uh} started her music career from her studio apartment in Madrid. Influenced by her favorite artists including Frank Ocean, SZA, Orion Sun, greek, and Daniel Caesar, riah weaves between R&B, neo-soul, and pop to create her sound. After amassing over one million combined streams with her first widely successful song “Too Fast,” riah released her debut EP titled Head/Space in July of last year. Through her vocal agility, lyrical storytelling, and captivating visuals, riah is sure to continue proving herself as a high-calibre, self-made independent artist.
